Having had a lot of friends that suffer from hair loss, this subject was the topic of numerous dinner conversations, whereby the male friends that I had gone to university started to suffer from male hair loss in their 20s. We often laugh at this topic as it reminded us all of the Belgravia hair loss centre and the ads that most people recall and associate automatically with any hair loss problems as it is well known and established partly due to their vigorous ad campaigns.

They were really concerned that they were of marriageable age, and, what their wedding photos would like if their hair continued to recede at the level that it had been to date. They seemed to think that nothing could be done about this as any web searches on hair loss revealed that they would have to have strip surgery to ensure hair growth, however, this meant that they would actually need the hair to grow to hide the scars they would be left with after the surgical procedure to help rectify their hair loss problem on their scalp.

They also attended numerous consultations at prestigious clinics around the country and also in the famous Harley Street , but were only told after the consultation that there are no guarantees after any procedures.

However, there is a hair clinic know as Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) and it is based in the heart of Harley Street, with hair loss clinics in 30 countries across the globe.

DHI is different to many clinics that specialise in hair loss, first it is the only clinic that solely caters for hair loss problems in the scalp. The technique used to treat hair loss is called Direct Hair Implantation using a specialised implanter that is patented to extract and replace hair.

Hair follicles are extracted using the patented implanter and the hair extracted is then separated into grafts and replaced onto the donor area that needs growth. You can basically have the procedure done within a commitment of a few hours of your time and you go home. There is no scarring from the procedure as No Scalpels are used and there will also be No Stitches from the procedure. DHI has its own hair loss after procedure products such as shampoos and lotions that you will need to use after the procedure. You will also be entitled to free follow up evaluation appointments at their clinic after the procedure. Further DHI guarantees 80 per cent of the implants and will replace any implants that did not grow up to 80 per cent as long as their Pre Operative and Post Operative procedures were followed by their clients.

DHI is regulated by the Health Care Commission in the UK and is also ISO registered which are the regulatory bodies that regulate cosmetic clinics and they abide by their regulatory standards.

The funny thing is that when you search hair loss on the net you come across many clinics that boast that they provide Follicular Unit Extraction known as (FUE), but, what people do not know is that DHI actually were the first to have invented FUE and has now moved onto Direct Hair Implantation with help from their own dedicated research department that has the sole aim of making hair transplants as pain free and as simple as possible for clients so that people would not have to go through a pain through procedure to rectify hair loss as he did and with this ambition in mind DHI was established.

In fact the founder of DHI Mr. Giotis suffered from hair loss himself and having gone through a painful procedure himself to rectify his hair loss problems, after the procedure had one aim to bring a new procedure that would rectify people's hair loss problems using a simple method without any scarring and or stitches.

DHI has been in existence for forty years and is the leader in its field with a wealth of experience. It has a patient contactable list whereby potential clients can contact patients that have undergone the procedure and ask them any questions that they may have with respect to how they felt about the procedure and what they think about the results etc.

DHI has had numerous famous celebrities that undergone the Direct Hair Implantation procedure, they also have seminars and events such a the Aegean Masters meeting that you can attend if you would like to find out more about what DHI does and also to view "live sessions" conducted on board a cruising ship, the next meeting will take place on May 29-30 2010.

The initial consultation is free, but I suggest you take the Alopecia Test, which incidentally will be conducted by a qualified doctor, which costs 100, this will help you identify and diagnose your hair loss problem and what is the best way to help solve your hair loss problems.

Do not take my word for it judge them for yourself and make up your own opinion and have a look around, as this is not an endorsement of DHI by me, but, just a article to help inform you about alternatives.

For further details visit www.dhiglobal.com

The website is very informative and has a simple form you can fill out on line and a Total Care Consultant will then ring you to arrange a free no obligation consultation at one of their clinics. So you really have nothing to lose.

I hope the article proves informative about hair loss providers and remember to shop around and choose what is best for you.
